Its 1917 in the trenches in France and young soldier Stanley is far away from his home in England. Stanley is a dog handler whose dog must so loyal as to cross the trenches alone, carrying messages that could save numerous soldiers lives. The danger is immense, and as the fighting continues and the true horrors of war shines through, Stanley comes to realise that it is only the loyalty of his dog that he can truly rely on.
