Victory Medal Replica
The Allied Victory Medal was issued by all the countries that contributed to the victory of the First World War in a similar or equivalent design. The British version says 'The Great War for Civilisation 1914-1919’
To qualify, an individual serving in the armed forces of the United Kingdom or the British Empire had to have entered a theatre of war between 5 August 1914 and 11 November 1918. While France or the United States issued around 2 million each, around 5.7 million British Victory Medals were issued.
